The main message that I derived from the digital presentation was that there is a higher than the normal rate of obesity that needs to be controlled and reined in West Virginia rest it rises to unmanageable levels in the near future. According to the Centre for Disease control figures in the presentation, obesity rates in adults in West Virginia could rise to 46.1% of the population which is nearly half of the population. The presentation was well done regarding visual, textual and audio synchronization. The presentation used real-life images of obese people, thus creating a real feel for the entire presentation. The presenter also used real graphs and charts from the Centre for Disease control, thus lending more credibility and comprehensibility to the presentation. The audience in this first presentation might be spurred on to action by the intensity of the presentation regarding the textual and visual content. The presentation, being one of portending doom might be a clarion call to the audience to adopt a healthier and less obese lifestyle. The presentation was strong in its statistical grounding. The presenter based the presentation based on real data from the Center for Disease Control and the West Virginia state government. The presentations use of actual images made the presentation, vivid and memorable. The presentation was strong in its statistical grounding. The presenter based the presentation based on real data from the Center for Disease Control and the West Virginia state government. The presentations use of actual images made the presentation, vivid and memorable. The presentation is vivid, but it needs to be a little more balanced in the presentation. The use of facts, though critical in making the presentation credible carry the risk of making it monotonous and overloading the audience with too much data hence affecting comprehensibility.

Hello, Presenter 2,

The central message of this presentation was that there are rising prospects of positive behavioral changes among residents of West Virginia and hence there are positive chances that the rates of obesity in West Virginia, which according to the Centre for Disease Control is the sixth most obese state in the nation. The text and visuals in this presentation matched well with the audio presentation by the presenter to give the presentation an informative and memorable outlook. The text and visuals provide a prevailing attitude of positivity and hope; indications that will paradigm changes it is possible to bring down the rates of obesity in West Virginia. The presentation, though optimistic tends to sugarcoat the obesity problem in West Virginia by showing viewers a biased presentation of the actual situation. As such, the presentation might lull the audience into complacency. The presentation avoids showing the real picture in the scenario and May thus push the audience towards complacency instead of action. The presentation was strong in its visual appeal. The message is of resounding hope, and the text and visuals combine perfectly to pass on this message. The presentation not only communicates a message but also communicates an attitude. The first area that needs to be improved in this presentation is bias. The presentation, in its emphasis on the positive lifestyle changes taking place in West Virginia, forgets to show the audience the severity of the situation in the present and the risks of that escalating in the future. The second area that needs improvement in this presentation is the underuse of data from credible sources. The presenter needs to collect more data from credible sources to make the presentation more trustworthy and to make the presentation more informative.
