Firstly, the American Revolution enhanced by the establishment of three branches of national government, for instance, the executive, legislative and judiciary. Thus, putting a system of checks and balances to control the authorities of the arms.

Secondly, the incorporation of the bill of rights was always crucial in protecting the citizens of some basic rights such as freedom of speech, press, and religion. Besides, the right to assemble peacefully, protection from unreasonable search and seizure, the right to quick public trial, right to bear and keep arms among others was also significant in accelerating the American Revolution (Hamilton, 2007).
