Stakeholders are an important aspect of any evaluation process since they are potential users of the findings of any research. Involving them is a sure way of adding value in terms of the implementation process. Their input is considerably huge, basically because of their ability to understand the information gathered and assist the program. Soliciting input from stake holders during the evaluation process is important since it allows for more relevant outcomes. For instance, for my evaluation I would consider the various parties who would be useful. Students, who are my target source of evaluation, are definitely major stakeholders. It would be necessary to involve them since the research statistics and studies are being derived from them. They also would be affected by any decisions made in terms of implementation. Consent from this special group of people is important and plays a huge role in the research evaluation process.

Program evaluators are also key in this kind of evaluation process and it is encouraged to involve them as much as possible. In this case, the program stuff or independent researcher would fit perfectly. They are well-equipped in the program lay out with good understanding of the topic. Funders are also important in the evaluation. They need to be aware of the results that are presented to them as a way of guiding them while investing. For example, investing in a college program for alcoholics makes investors acknowledge how to go about the program.

Stakeholders interests have huge impacts on the evaluation process. They have the ability to positively or negatively affect the implementation of results. The more they stand to benefit or lose, the stronger their interests are likely to be. All the stake holders in this project have a common goal for social change. The sole purpose of evaluation is to foster a chance especially after deviation from a social vice, in this case alcoholism. Identifying their interests would be important in putting more ideas on the table thus increasing the chances for the success of evaluation implementation.

Ethical issues can arise in so many circumstances and situations; that is ethical dilemmas introduced by the evaluators during the process of evaluation or even dilemmas in the context. During evaluation, ethical issues are rampant to be used in the report findings. They may be an exaggeration of success of the findings during the initial research. This would definitely cause a loophole in the evaluation process. Releasing of findings that are belated make them irrelevant in compromising the evaluation process. Another dilemma that is ethics-related is lack of adequate knowledge and skills in the methods used (Pedhazur & Schmelkin, 1991). This could be responsible for vague findings which would be rather hard to work with during evaluation.

The most important steps to take before trying to satisfy the needs of stakeholders would be establishing the order of priority. This helps in meeting the needs of each stakeholder in relation to intensity of their various needs. Responding to the needs of the correspondents of my research would be the very first priority. Finding a solution stirring towards a positive change would mean that I have considered to their interests. Privacy among respondents is a key aspect of the evaluation. Giving funders accurate feedbacks in terms of statistics and results would be my main obligation. I would be willing to take full responsibility. Acknowledging the huge role of evaluators is key in satisfying their needs. It is quite a serious task for any evaluation job. The overall goal for impacting social change through changing the vices of communities will be achieved.

My evaluation would be important to periodically asses and adapt activities to ensure that they are affective. I am strongly convinced that it will be an essential part of planning and provision of only consolidated information. It will also come in handy as a valuable tool for program managers seeking to change certain social aspects of my community. There should be an emphasis on quality evaluation which should be characterized with involving of all concerned stakeholders. Success of implementation of any evaluation solely depends on the efforts of concerned parties coming together and showing commitment to achieving the same goals.

Therefore, evaluation research is an important and essential part of any research process. It should be a well-organized procedure and all necessary parties should be involved. Getting each of these key stakeholders involved is key in making the process is a successes. Ethical issues are important when it comes to any evaluation. It is wise to follow the right procedure to ensure a success in implementing the results found. This is a great way of impacting change in the social effect that is being targeted. Changes should be expected if the design is well followed leading to a successful evaluation research.References
