The trial of Socrates for a series of decades has puzzled antique scholars. It raises queries when a legend from a high society is subjected to trial. It is not pretty clear why trial overshadows the freedom of speech during the era of Socrates. Everyone deserves the right to life; no one should beg to exist, Socrates demise wasnt in order at all, killing a man of the people is an act that wont even appease the sprits, it was certainly a wrong approach. Every person is entitled to own his /her opinions no one should hate you for what you think. It is a public role to be our brothers keeper; an American should be there for a fellow American. The society we are living in is elevated to the next level due to the public duty we engage ourselves to. Everyone deserves to die an honorable death; every individual wish to die a natural death, the death of Socrates violates the rights every human being, he is subjected to sudden and harsh death.

Socrates and Christ were persecuted and charged by the people and the governing body that was prevalent at the time. Christ and Socrates were inspiring and moving the people through their individual acts and teachings that were critical to the development and structural improvement of people in the society. Socrates was taken through trial and was accused of civil disobedience and going against the sacred law of the land (Fasching et al 65). This was similar to the accusations that were leveled against Christ, who was also charged with blasphemy and going against the law of the land. The two were wrongly accused by the prevailing governments although the accusations were frivolous and inappropriate.

The trial of Jesus was led by the government and religious leaders in the society. Christ was persecuted and charged with blasphemy although he was challenging the leaders to adhere to ideals that would help the people in general. The leaders were challenged and feared that Christ was moving who were critical of the prevalent government. On the other hand, Socrates was also persecuted by the government since he was challenging the government and religious leaders to be better and accountable to the people (Fasching et al 15). Socrates was found guilty of crimes that he had not committed since the leaders felt challenged by Socrates. The two people were taken to many problems that were critical in developing good processes for the people. The two were found guilty and charged to die under the law. These circumstances were unique to their cases that were identified as unique making it a case that was not directed to a specific area. Christ and Socrates were not given the same level of justice and trial that should have been followed in the society. They were critical in shaping peoples lives but were both persecuted for their efforts.
