The ZMX global case is one of the professional development activity that is designed to supplement my managerial and accounting coverage of variable counting and is done using data from the real world cost. ZMX Global is a retail dealer that is facing a lot of loses. The losses incurred are due to poor business which is catalyzed by the location of the retail dealer. The aim of every business is making of profits and this can only be achieved if all the factors facing business prosper is put under implementation. The reason to why ZMX Global floral is relocating the business to the chosen situation is because there is profit making similar retail dealer operating in the area as in (Gottingen, 2007).

The idea that I learnt in this professional study is that business opportunities depend on the location and demand of the goods sold by the dealer. For example one cannot expect to sell heavy raincoats and blankets in a hot and dry country like the Saharan countries. The reason is that the location of the business is first not favorable for a long term profit making business. The other reason is that the demand of goods sold by the retail dealers may not be high to make profits. In the case of ZMX Global Company, I learnt that the business had not constructed an appropriate business case before starting the business. Business cases are created before the start of any business or company. The idea behind the business case is that it helps focus on the objectives of the company. A business plan has the procedures to be followed will executing any project inside an institution as in (Gottingen, 2007).

ECONOMICS, LAW AND GOVERMENT

Professional development helps in building the personality and managerial skills of a person. I addressed the issue of risk because the company had not constructed measures that would help the company tackle threats that are posed by the risks. Risks should be analyzed while drafting the business case. A good manager should have a budget that is set to promote the risk management strategies. The relocation of the business has got risks itself. There is already an operating dealer in the area due for relocation. Customers and residents of the place have already build trust and relationship with the existing dealer. To win the hearts and pockets of the customers will require a long period of establishment. This is a major risk that can face the business forcing it to relocate once more as in (Mergent, 2001).

CARREER SKILLS OF BUSINESS AND MANAGEMENT

As manager for example the ZMX Global company manager, the company shoud learn various skills of having the opportunity cost applies here when the manager decides to relocate in order to make profits in the business. I learnt that the business had not constructed an appropriate business case before starting the business. Business cases are created before the start of any business or company.
