Account Manager Position Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and delivery of all Bell Media TV services sales strategies. A natural leader and relationship, builder the Manager, Affiliate Sales will develop new business opportunities, negotiate offers and align the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure sales targets are exceeded while developing new and innovative opportunities.
Account Manager Role and Responsibilities
lead the development of sales strategies and plans for all Bell Media TV services - including Pay TV, Specialty Channels and Conventional services;
management of the sales budget and expenses to ensure short and long term goals are met;
hosting clients at special events on occasion.
Qualifications of Account Manager
2+ years experience in sales, with a minimum 1 year leading a sales team;
demonstrated ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams to meet shared deliverables;
exceptional relationships building skills, including, ability to convert sales leads, and build a strong rapport with existing clients;
exceptional communication skills across all levels of an organization, both written and verbal;
superior presentation skills, excellent public speaker, and charismatic.
university degree or College diploma in a relevant discipline (e.g. Marketing or Business);
experience within the media industry, specifically TV is an asset.
