After a critical review it was discovered that the manager-employee relations had a role to play on the overall performance of the employees and eventually that organization.

Aim of the study

The contents of this study are focused on showing the impacts of the management on the performance of the employees. This study is focused on showing how much the management can impact the performance of the employee within an organization. The functions and roles of the management that aid in improving the performance of the employee will be discussed. The influence of the management has a major role to play on the morale of the employees within an organization. the study will also aim at showing that the performance of the employee is directly affected by the relationship the employee has come to develop with his or her manager. The first aim of the study will be to find out how the conventional relationship between the management and the employee affect the performance of the employee. Secondly, the study will seek to find out how different models of leadership used by a manager will aid or disrupt the performance of the employees within an institution.

Objectives of the study

To determine the aspects of management that affect the performance of employees within an organization.

To find out how different leadership models adopted by the management affect the manager-employee relations which in turn affect the performance of the employees and in the long run that of the organization.

To show that some functions of the management have the potential to affect relations within the work place fostering for good performance among the employees.

The contents study, hold the position that, the performance of the employees within an organization is directly affected by the functions of the management and how they are executed. It is believed that all the factors discussed herein are functions of the management on one way or another and they all end up affecting the performance of the employee. The study will be focused on drawing information from both primary and secondary sources. The study will be focused on organization within Saudi Arabia. For the primary sources a number of questionnaires was dispensed to 150 respondents within several organization in Saudi Arabia. Most of the questions in the questionnaires, were focused determining what aspects of the management affects the performance of the employees within the targeted organization.

The secondary sources will be drawn from previous studies on management and their effects on the employee performance. The literature review of the paper will discuss how other studies further substantiate the stand of the paper. The use or academic papers, articles and journals will constitute some of the major sources that information will be drawn from. A discussion of the findings will be done so as to help build up on the thesis of the paper.

The paper will focus its research based on firms in Saudi Arabia. The study will mostly target the responses of the employees within the organizations since they are the ones that are affected by the influence of the management in the organization. The major limitations of the study will be to find accurate and unbiased information from the employee interviewed. Since the paper will draw most of its secondary research from books and journals there is risk that the contents found in the papers are also biased or limited and do not cover wider scopes. This will affect the paper since it will lack concentrated information. A limited study will mean that the contents of the paper are narrow and not informative. This paper will focus at surpassing these limitations and making sure that a comprehensive research is done. The study will be focused covering all the aspects of management that affect performance within an organization. the research will aim at providing a permanent solution to the issues of employee performance on the job.
