In this book, the author, Arellano examines the fact that the stem cells could be wrongly viewed and that their research could be an introduction of a positive advantage of stem cells. He examines the fact that one could develop certain conditions that would lead to the development of some diseases like Alzheimer. Arellano establishes the fact that in order to understand certain phenomena, one should need to identify how it happens.
Stem cells according to the author perspectives would be the only savior towards diseases like Ischemia. The author distinguishes that it is possible for someone to make a free decision on whether he or she would want to undergo any cure. The article stipulates that the procedures that appertain to the medicine research should only be made on someone if they give a suggestion or approve of it.

The article identifies the fact that there might be no cure for the Alzheimers disease but treatment could be considered as the only existing option. The author, Hunsberger claims that the advances in the induced Pluripotent cell (iPSC), as a technology can be used to develop a model that would resemble the actual disease in a dish so that deep research could be done to fight against Alzheimer.
In the article, he claims that there was an approval that was granted from the US food and Drug Administration that would be in opposition to prove the first phase 2A clinical trial of ischaemia tolerant mesenchymal stem cells which might be used to treat Alzheimers disease in the USA. The author stipulated that although there might be concern that can be raised over the safety after the research and technology is used to research on the treatment, the acceleration for the potential treatment of the disease Alzheimer would still stand. The article suggests that research is still ongoing and the benefits of this research are expected to kick off once the treatment commences.

In his article, McDonag argues if the use of the umbilical cord blood could be a possible treatment that might cure diseases and some conditions of the blood and the immune system. The authors also consider the possibility that the cord blood might use to treat cancers and most especially the disease under study which is Alzheimer. There are other diseases that could also be treated should the approach work and they include the spinal cord injury, diabetes and multiple sclerosis. The author gives a story on how a woman wished that she had known earlier about the stem cell research as she would have solved her spinal cord problem.
The author examines incidents where the victim's even stored the cord blood to the health labs so that they may be used in the future should she or her children need them. The author stipulates that the belief that the research on the code blood will solve most of the diseases is what keeps the medicine research on regenerative medicine therapy according to the article. The author considers the cord blood as the tool to transform the research field in medicine as the benefits are more than the outweighed consequences.
