Since a tender age, I have always been interested in acting and becoming a star in the film industry. As I was growing up I did played a lot imitating certain stars in movies. I developed strong passion for acting and modelling to an extent that I promised myself to pursue it as my dream career. My dreams have been to not only pursue the acting career but to also mentor others in the industry so that my legacy will be of significance impact to the young people who aspire to become actors and join the film industry.

In my lifes journey, Ive lived in Georgia, California, and South Carolina, and have been to a few acting/modeling agencies in order to exercise my acting skills. This I did severally to make me conversant with the modelling agencies therefore making it easy for me to interact with the right personalities that may supervise and advise me on what it takes to make it in the film industry. Notably, I have also participated in plays at my high school, and did one production at Spellman College for a summer camp. These performances have kept me strong and encouraged that eventually I will be a star in the industry.

Recently, after taking part in many performances, I decided that I wanted to focus on directing. When I moved to California in my sophomore year in high school, I got to visit Hollywood, paramount pictures, and a few arts colleges. Just being in the hub of the film industry, I was inspired. Every film Ive watched from then on, I look at it differently. I started to think of what it must be like on set, and the various people it takes to create a movie. This further inspired me that I developed the love for watching behind the scenes videos on movies that I enjoyed as well as television shows.

As a director, I would like to have my own style, which I am not sure of yet, but I plan to develop as I move along. The filmmakers styles that I admire most are Christopher Nolan, Quentin Tarantino, Guillermo Del Toro, Tim Burton, and Johnny Depp. I am currently a senior in high school and I want to go to school to study Film and Television production. I believe this studies will enable me realize my long term dream as stated above. Since directing requires proper communication skills, I also plan to minor in communications.

Driven by passion, love and interest, I hereby tender my application for this course in your institution so that I can make my dream a reality and serve the society as a whole. Taking this course will be a defining moment in my life as it will shape my life and grant me an opportunity to make it in the film industry.
